IT’S OFFICIAL: Change of Date Announced For Asaba International Road Race

The Organising Committee of the Asaba International Road Race wishes to inform all athletes, partners, sponsors, and the general public of a change in the date of the event.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, 4th October 2025, the race will now be held on Saturday, 6th December 2025.

This adjustment has become necessary due to the following reasons:

Logistical Readiness: Certain key logistical components required for the successful hosting of the race have experienced delays, and the additional time will allow us to put everything in place.

Athlete Preparation: The new date provides a wider window for both local and international athletes to complete their preparations, ensuring peak performance and participation.

Enhanced Event Experience: The shift allows us to deliver a more secure, well-organised, and world-class event for all participants, sponsors, and spectators.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this change may cause and deeply appreciate the understanding and continued support of all stakeholders.

Please be assured that the 6th of December 2025 is now confirmed and final. We look forward to welcoming you to Asaba for an exciting and memorable road race.
