Football Pays Tribute To Former Liverpool Women Manager Matt Beard

The Football World Is Mourning The Passing Of Former Liverpool Women Manager Matt Beard, Who Was Confirmed To Have Died Aged 47.

At A Coroner’s Court Hearing In Ruthin, North Wales, It Was Revealed That Beard Was Found Hanged At His Home In Deeside, Flintshire, Before Being Taken To Hospital, Where He Later Passed Away On 20 September. A Full Inquest Will Be Held At A Later Date.

A Legacy Of Success

Matt Beard Cemented His Name In Women’s Football By Leading Liverpool To Back-To-Back WSL Titles In 2013 And 2014. He Returned For A Second Spell In 2021 Before Parting Ways With The Club Earlier This Year. His Last Managerial Role Was At Burnley, Which He Resigned From In June.
