William Saliba Agrees New Five-Year Arsenal Contract Until 2030
French international William Saliba has committed his long-term future to Arsenal, agreeing terms on a new five-year deal that will keep him at the club until June 2030, according to Sky Sports.
Arsenal’s Defensive Rock
Saliba, 24, has grown into one of the Premier League’s finest centre-backs, playing a pivotal role in Mikel Arteta’s system. He featured in all 38 top-flight matches in the 2023/24 season and missed just three games in the following campaign, underlining his consistency and importance to the Gunners.
Long-Term Stability At The Back
With this new deal, Saliba joins fellow defender Gabriel Magalhaes and academy talents Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly in signing contract extensions with Arsenal in 2025, strengthening the club’s foundation for the future.
Journey To Stardom
Signed in the summer of 2019, Saliba had to wait until the 2022/23 campaign to make his competitive debut after multiple loan spells. Since then, he has made 139 appearances across all competitions, contributing seven goals and cementing his place as a fan favorite.
The Frenchman’s decision to stay is seen as a massive boost for Arsenal’s title ambitions, ensuring that Arteta’s side retains one of the most reliable defenders in world football.
