Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta couldn’t hide his admiration for Eberechi Eze after the Crystal Palace star dazzled in their latest Premier League clash.
Eze, who has been in fine form this season, caused problems all evening with his trademark dribbles, composure on the ball, and clever positioning. But while Arteta praised the midfielder’s quality, he also cheekily pointed out that Eze could have walked away with more than just one goal contribution.
“He should have scored two more goals,” Arteta told reporters post-match. “The way he plays between the lines, the way he carries the ball, it’s always dangerous. When you have that kind of ability, you must make it count even more.”
For Crystal Palace, Eze continues to be their creative spark — linking midfield and attack with flair and confidence. Against a top side like Arsenal, his performance only added weight to growing calls for him to cement a place in the England squad ahead of next summer.
From a sports market perspective, Eze’s value is rising fast. His ability to deliver against big opponents makes him one of the most-watched English midfielders in the Premier League, and Arteta’s public praise only fuels speculation that a move to a top-six club could be on the horizon.
