Arsenal Star Noni Madueke Set To Miss Six To Eight Weeks Following Knee Injury
Arsenal have confirmed that Noni Madueke is expected to miss around six to eight weeks after sustaining a knee injury in the 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester City on Sunday. The 23-year-old England international, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer, was substituted at half-time and has since been undergoing tests to determine the severity of the problem.
Injury Update
Thankfully, sources indicate that Madueke has not suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, but medics are waiting for swelling to subside before making a definitive diagnosis. The current prognosis suggests he will be sidelined for a minimum of six weeks, though this is considered the best-case scenario.

Impact On Arsenal And England
The news is a major blow for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and England head coach Thomas Tuchel, with Madueke having shown a promising start to the season.
-
He will miss crucial matches for Arsenal, including domestic fixtures and European games, and will be unavailable for England’s upcoming qualifiers against Wales and Latvia.
-
Madueke is also a doubt for World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania in mid-November.
Arsenal’s next Premier League game is against Sunderland on 8 November, and if Madueke misses the international break, he could make his return for the North London derby versus Tottenham on 23 November.
Looking Ahead
While Arsenal will miss Madueke’s pace and attacking creativity, this period will provide opportunities for other players to step up. Medics and coaching staff will continue to monitor his recovery closely, aiming to get him back in action safely and at full fitness.
