100-Goal Man: Ronaldo’s Latest Milestone
The records keep tumbling for Cristiano Ronaldo as he becomes the first-ever player to score 100+ goals for four different clubs.
In the Saudi Super Cup Final, CR7 made it to three figures with Al Nassr from the penalty spot, achieving the remarkable feat in just 113 matches.
At Manchester United, where the Portuguese forward initially made his name, it took a sedate 253 appearances to reach his ton. However, since then ‘Rocket Ronnie’ has been on a tear.
At his next stop in Spain, it took him only 105 appearances to hit one hundred with Real Madrid. In a trophy-laden career with Los Blancos, Ronaldo would score a breathtaking 450 goals in 438 appearances, averaging 1.03 goals per game.
At his next stop with Italian powerhouse Juventus, 131 matches were required to hit three digits, making him the fastest player in the club’s history to reach the mark.
Additionally, Ronaldo has also hit the same landmark with his national team and currently stands on 138 goals, with a World Cup not too far away.
All-time, Ronaldo has scored 905 times in 1,242 official appearances for club and country, making him the all-time leading goal scorer in the history of football.
