Report: Tom Bischof To Miss Start of Season For Bayern
Here we go again…
Bayern Munich midfielder Tom Bischof’s emergency appendectomy this morning was just the kind of news that the club did not need.
Per Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau, Bischof will be out until after the international break, which means his return is tentatively slated for somewhere around September 13th:
Tom Bischof operated on for appendicitis: At FC Bayern, it is currently assumed that the new signing will have to pause until the international break. As a result, he is likely to miss not only the Leipzig match but also the cup game against Wiesbaden and the 2nd matchday in Augsburg.
After a preseason filled with promise for Bischof, the former Hoffenheim player will have to start over when he is deemed healthy.
Bayern Munich is sputtering toward the finish line of this transfer window, but at least games are starting…right?
