Solomon John has celebrated his hat-trick for Czechia club Mlada Boleslav.
The winger’s treble ensured home team Mlada Boleslav beat FC Kralove 3-2 in the Czechia top league at the weekend.
It was their first win of the season and they have now climbed to 12th on the table with four points from as many matches.
The 24-year-old John, who played in Portugal for several seasons, said he had a good feeling he will score in the game, but he did not know he would even get a hat-trick.
“I had a feeling three days ago that I would score, but I had no idea that it would be three times,” he admitted.
“It’s been a long time since I scored three goals in one match, thank God that I managed to do it.
“It was a great match for us, we were all looking forward to winning and getting three points.”
