Juventus, Atletico In Talks Over Vlahovic, Gonzalez And Molina
Juventus and Atlético Madrid are currently locked in negotiations which reports from Italy claim focus on the futures of three players: Dusan Vlahovic, Nico Gonzalez and Nahuel Molina.
According to what has been reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri are interested in signing Molina to provide head coach Igor Tudor with an alternative option at right-back. However, the reports claim that Juventus would first need to sell a player, with Nico Gonzalez and Vlahovic both on the transfer list.
Gazzetta claim that Atletico have made an enquiry to Juventus about Vlahovic’s future, if Premier League-linked Alexander Sorloth leaves the Spanish capital. Meanwhile, SkySport are reporting that the Spanish giants want Gonzalez too and are considering making an offer for the Argentine.
Juventus and Atletico sit on the transfer merry-go-round
There are a lot of ‘dominoes’ in place currently and a chain reaction could set off a number of transfers, especially as far as Juventus are concerned.
The Bianconeri are still trying to offload midfielder Douglas Luiz, despite his strong performances in pre-season. However, interest from the Premier League appears to have stalled for the time being and therefore the Old Lady are reportedly prioritising the sales of Gonzalez and Vlahovic.
If Gonzalez leaves, Molina may arrive in his stead whilst if Luiz departs, reports earlier today claimed the Bianconeri are looking at Chelsea’s Carney Chukwuemeka.
