Fresh off winning the FA Community Shield, Crystal Palace have landed a multi-year partnership with SunExpress, the airline run jointly by Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, who will be the club’s Official Airline Partner as the Eagles play European football for the first time in club history this season.
SunExpress are utilising the power of social media, kicking things off with Palace players making videos and then rolling out joint projects aimed at UK fans and international supporters.
Palace fans get some opportunities for free goodies with flight competitions to Turkey, VIP tickets for matches, plus exclusive experiences you can’t normally get your hands on.
Selhurst Park will be covered in SunExpress branding once the season starts including LED screens, and pitch-side advertising boards as well as real estate across Palace’s social media and website.
Steve Parish, Crystal Palace chairman, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome SunExpress as our Official Airline Partner. Their ambition, reach and reputation for connecting people with the places they love make them an exciting addition to our partner family.”
Max Kownatzki, CEO of SunExpress, added: “SunExpress is proud to become the Official Airline Partner of Crystal Palace Football Club, a team that inspires passion and unity with its fans in London, and across the UK and beyond.”
No value was given for the deal.
