Manchester United And Coca-Cola Announce Global Collaboration

Two global heavyweights in their respective fields have come together as Manchester United have inked a three-year partnership with The Coca-Cola Company, naming Coca-Cola as the club’s Official Carbonated Soft Drinks Partner in the United Kingdom and Europe.

The agreement includes pouring rights for Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Dr Pepper and their zero sugar counterparts inside Old Trafford, as well as the club’s new pop up pub which is opening in the W1 car park ahead of the Red Devils’ opening fixture on Sunday.

This partnership also complements Coca-Cola’s ongoing league-wide agreement with the English Premier League and further reinforces its longstanding commitment to connecting with football culture as it looks to further reach into the sporting sphere.

Marc Armstrong, Chief Business Officer at Manchester United, said: “Coca-Cola and Manchester United are two of the world’s most iconic brands, each with a proud history of bringing people together.

“We are forming a partnership that will go beyond matchday refreshments at Old Trafford – creating engaging and memorable experiences that connect our fans to the club in fresh and impactful ways.”

Elodie Peribere, Senior Marketing Director, Coca-Cola, said: “Manchester United is one of the most iconic clubs in world football, with a legacy of greatness and a fanbase that spans generations. We’re proud to partner with the club to deliver uplifting and refreshing experiences for supporters through our leading carbonated brands, Coca-Cola.”

Having impressed during the Premier League Summer Series in the United States, the new-look Red Devils take on Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday in what could be a statement match for Ruben Amorim and his side.

A victory would give the club a confidence boost as they look to outdo last season’s 15th-placed finish.
