The Dubai based airline, Emirates, is back in the German Bundesliga after agreeing a seven-year agreement with the current champions, FC Bayern Munich.
The airline will become the club’s Platinum Partner starting this season and running through to 2031/32. The deal includes premium branding rights, hospitality assets, and global marketing integration.
President of Emirates Airline, Sir Tim Clark, said, “By aligning with FC Bayern, we’re connecting to a globally respected sporting institution with a loyal and passionate international following.”
Emirates, who missed out on the front-of-shirt sponsorship to Deutsche Telekom, will receive Premium Allianz Arena LED perimeter advertising with strategic pitch-side carpet placement and comprehensive Club TV integration across press conferences and flash interviews. The partnership includes full Bayern Munich first-team image rights access, an exclusive Emirates skybox, and extensive ticket and hospitality allocations for that premium guest experience which is now par for the course.
Emirates previously sponsored Hamburger SV and currently sponsor Real Madrid, Arsenal, AC Milan, Olympique Lyonnais and Benfica.
Michael Diederich, Deputy Chairman of FC Bayern, added, “Emirates is a reliable global brand and an ideal match for our long-term goals, both sporting and commercial.”
