NPFL U19 Youth League To Start In 3 Centres From August 4th
The NPFL U19 Championship is designed to serve as a development platform for young players, with the aim of discovering talents that can progress into the professional league and national teams.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), through the board of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), has appointed the Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association, Hajji Gafar Olawale Liameed, as the South-West Zonal Coordinator for the 2025 U19 NPFL Youth Championship.
The appointment, which was confirmed in a letter signed by NPFL Secretary/Legal Adviser, Danladi Ibrahim, Esq., recognizes Liameed’s long-standing contributions to grassroots football and youth development across Nigeria
Ikenne.
His new role will see him oversee the organization and execution of the U19 youth league in the South-West geopolitical zone, which includes Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, and Ekiti States.

The two top teams on the log at the end of round-rubbing fixtures will qualify for the top-six finals that will be played to determine the overall champions. The U-19 NPFL Youth League is a part of the concluded 2024/25 season activities.
