Sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me that the Partenopei’s interest in the versatile Spanish left-back could become concrete in the coming hours, with the defending Serie A champions ready to bid €20m.

Miguel Gutierrez can play as a left-back or as a left-winger, so it remains to be seen whether Napoli will pursue another attacking winger if they end up signing the Girona player.
