Milan fans will finally be able to welcome Luka Modric when he holds his press conference on Monday and meets the supporters at their flagship store.
The midfielder was the very first reinforcement of the summer for new coach Max Allegri, arriving as a free agent after his contract with Real Madrid was allowed to run down.
Milan fans have had to wait for Modric
However, he first had to complete his Real Madrid duties by participating in the FIFA Club World Cup, then had his medical tests and signed the contract with the Rossoneri on July 14.
The Croatia international went off on his summer vacation, but his Milan experience will officially begin next week.
This starts with a presentation press conference on Monday August 4, followed by a visit to the club’s flagship story in the city’s Via Dante, where he will be greeted by supporters.
Modric turns 40 in September and has been a fan of Milan since childhood, when he watched his hero Zvonimir Boban play for the club.
