Concern Mounts Over Echegini Injury
PSG star Jennifer Echegini has suffered an injury in the 2024 WAFCON semifinal against South Africa and will need to be assessed ahead of Saturday’s final against hosts Morocco.
Echegini was forced out of the encounter in the 64th minute and replaced by Benfica midfielder Christy Ucheibe.
“She has a slight knock and will need to be assessed by the medical team,” said coach Justine Madugu.
