Napoli & Torino In Deep Talks For Player Swap
Napoli and Torino continue negotiations to exchange players, with Vanja Milinkovic-Savic determined to move south, while Cyril Ngonge could leave on loan with an obligation to buy.
The clubs have been in talks for weeks and Monday represented a very full day of intensive discussions to get these deals over the line.
It is very likely that both players will end up making the switch, but they might not necessarily be connected transfers in the end.
Napoli and Torino planning double deal
Milinkovic-Savic is very eager to join the Scudetto winners and work with Antonio Conte, turning down all other proposals over the last 10 days.
There is a release clause for within Italy set at €19m, but Napoli want to talk through a cheaper deal, aware that Torino have already chosen Sporting CP goalkeeper Franco Israel as his replacement.
Meanwhile, Napoli and Torino are busy discussing the formula for the Ngonge transfer to join the Granata.
The demand is for it to be a loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season, whereas Toro are trying to make it an obligation only if certain conditions are met.
