City Open To Grealish Sale: Potential Suitors
Jack Grealish is expected to leave Manchester City this summer, with the England international attracting interest from both the Premier League and Serie A.
Grealish is among six players reportedly allowed to depart the Etihad during the current transfer window. The 29-year-old winger endured a difficult 2024-25 campaign, largely serving as a squad player under Pep Guardiola. He made just 32 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
Although under contract until June 2027, City are said to be open to a transfer before Grealish’s market value declines further. The playmaker is currently valued at €28m (£23.6m) by Transfermarkt.
According to TBR Football, West Ham United have now entered the race to sign Grealish, with manager David Moyes keen to reinforce his attacking options following the departure of Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham Hotspur. Grealish is believed to be one of the key targets as the Hammers look to rebuild after finishing 14th in the Premier League.
Tottenham are also monitoring the situation and could attempt to lure the City midfielder to North London.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa — Grealish’s boyhood club who sold him to City for £100m in 2021 — are said to be considering a reunion.
Newcastle United, who secured Champions League qualification for the upcoming season, are another Premier League club reportedly keeping tabs on the player, although none of the interested parties have yet submitted a formal offer.
Interest from abroad is growing as well, with AC Milan, Napoli and Serie A newcomers Como all following the situation closely. However, Grealish’s reported £15m annual salary at Manchester City could prove a significant stumbling block for any move to Italy.
