Kean’s €52m Release Clause Makes Him A Man Utd Target
Fiorentina are still waiting on the deadline for Moise Kean’s €52m release clause, afraid Manchester United could poach him with a massive salary proposal.
The striker has had an extraordinary campaign with 25 goals and three assists in 44 competitive games at the Stadio Franchi.
That includes 19 in 32 Serie A appearances, the most prolific season of his career.
Kean career revitalised at Fiorentina
Naturally, this made the €52m release clause appetising to many top clubs and Manchester United seem to be the most eager to take advantage.
This option is only available from July 1 to 15, so the Viola are hoping to wait it out and convince the Italy international to stay for at least one more season.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United are ready to tempt Kean with a top salary and the chance to play in the Premier League again after Everton.
The problem might be the lack of Champions League football at Old Trafford.
Arsenal had shown some interest, but are busier with other targets.
Al-Qadsiah are reported to have proposed a €15m per season salary, but he is not interested in that move at this stage of his career.
