Nigerian veteran pugilist, Olanrewaju “God’s Power” Durodola (50-10-0, 44 KOs), is set to lock horns with American contender Marcus Browne (25-2-0, 16 KOs) in a blockbuster clash for the vacant WBC International Cruiserweight Title on Saturday, June 28, at the Place Bell Arena, Laval, Quebec.
Durodola, revered for his raw punching power and resilience, enters the ring with an extensive professional record that includes 44 knockouts in 60 fights.
The Nigerian slugger is aiming to add another title to his decorated career and reignite his presence on the global stage.
His opponent, Marcus Browne, a southpaw from Staten Island, New York, is a former WBA Interim Light-Heavyweight Champion making his debut in the cruiserweight division. He turned professional in 2011 and has since captured several regional titles, including the WBC Silver Cruiserweight Title (2015–2016) and the African Cruiserweight Title, which he has held since February 2020.
