Super Falcons’ Nnadozie Chiamaka Joins Brighton Women
Nigerian international goalkeeper and Super Falcons star, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has officially completed a high-profile move to Brighton & Hove Albion Women Football Club in the English Women’s Super League.
The transfer marks a major milestone in Nnadozie’s career as she joins one of England’s top-flight women’s clubs ahead of the new season.
The 23-year-old shot-stopper, renowned for her commanding presence and exceptional reflexes, becomes the second Nigerian female goalkeeper at the club, joining fellow Super Falcons teammate Comfort Erhabor.
The move not only strengthens Brighton’s goalkeeping department but also signals growing Nigerian representation in the English women’s top tier.
Nnadozie, who previously played for Paris FC in France, where she ran out her contract with many accolades including the best goalkeeper in the Ligue 1.
She is noted for sharp reflexes and penalty kick stopping ability which has earned her widespread acclaim for her performances at club level and for Nigeria, particularly during the last FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Brighton fans can look forward to a formidable Nigerian duo between the sticks as the Seagulls prepare for an ambitious campaign in the WSL.
