Osimhen Set To Reveal Next Move
Super Eagles’ striker, Victor James Osimhen, has served a strong hint that the ongoing suspense over the club he will play for in the coming season will come to an end in a few days, as he will soon decide on which transfer deal he will sign.
Sports247 reports that, with speculation rising high over his next port of call, the 2023 African Footballer of The Year, who is still contracted to SSC Napoli of Italy but played on loan at Galatasaray of Turkey last term, stressed that he is not in any hurry to sign for any of the clubs that are desperate to grab him.
Osimhen calmly stated, “It’s always like this when the season’s over, and the summer transfer negotiations start. You will have a lot of clubs that want to get your service.
“But, I think, right now, I’m focusing on my holiday … to enjoy myself and then think of what has gone past. While I’m enjoying the holiday, I’m also reminiscing over the previous season that I had with Gala.”
The former Ultimate Strikers FC of Lagos, VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, Racing Charleroi of Belgium and Lille Metropole of France star then revealed a very helpful off-field strategy he always employs during holidays to help him become a better person in all aspects of life.
“I spend time watching some clips to see my goals and the mistakes I made, as well as the things that I did well.
“This approach has really helped me to improve … not just as a player, but also as a man. As for the club I’ll play for, hopefully, very soon, the decision will come,” Osimhen hinted.
