Nnadozie Bids Farewell To Paris FC After Stellar Five Years

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has officially ended her five-year stint with Paris FC, the French club confirmed on Friday, according to Soccernet.ng.

Nnadozie, who joined the French side in 2020 from Nigerian outfit Rivers Angels, leaves Paris FC following the expiration of her contract.

Over the years, the 24-year-old has grown into a key figure between the sticks, racking up 100 domestic league appearances, 44 clean sheets, and maintaining a 74.4% save rate during her tenure, per Fbref.

Her time at the club was marked by impressive achievements, including three UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifications, a triumphant Coupe de France title, and individual accolades such as the D1 Arkema Goalkeeper of the Season and UNFP’s Best Goalkeeper award.

Paris FC Féminin, in a heartfelt message posted on their social media platforms, celebrated Nnadozie’s contributions, writing:

“Arriving at Paris FC in 2020 from River Angels FC, Chiamaka immediately became an essential part of the team. Arkema’s best goalkeeper in 2023 — she is leaving Paris FC after a magnificent victory in the Coupe de France, where she was one of the main actresses.

Paris FC warmly thanks Chiamaka for all these five years that will forever leave an imprint in the history of the club. We wish her all the best for the next step of her career.

Thank you, Maka!”

Speculations about her next destination suggest that the Nigerian goalkeeper will be heading to England, but wherever she heads next, her impact at Paris FC will not be easily forgotten.
