Taremi stuck in Iran while Inter prepare for Club World Cup
According to reports from Sky Sport Italia, Taremi is currently stuck in Tehran as flights from all Iranian airports have been grounded following an exchange of air strikes between Iran and Israel over the last two days.
The knock-on effect for Taremi is that he has not been able to join up with his teammates, who have arrived in Los Angeles for the start of the FIFA Club World Cup. The Iran international will not be able to leave the country until the restriction on flights is lifted.
The tournament kicks off with Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami side going up against Al-Ahly of Egypt at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, beginning at 01.00 BST (20.00 local time).
Inter will first be in action under new head coach Cristian Chivu against Monterrey at 02.00 BST on Wednesday, June 18 (18.00 on June 17, local time).
