PSV Renew Hunt For Lazio Attacker, Player Agrees Terms
PSV remain interested in Loum Tchaouna. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Eindhoven team, who were in the market for the SS Lazio attacker last winter, have reportedly reached a personal agreement with the player.
Tchaouna came into the picture at PSV at the beginning of this calendar year, shortly after striker Ricardo Pepi dropped out through injury.
Technical director Earnest Stewart wanted to lure the versatile attacker to the Netherlands by means of a loan deal and a mandatory option to buy of approximately thirteen million euros. However, that deal fell through at the time.
According to Corriere dello Sport, negotiations are currently underway between PSV and Lazio, where the 21-year-old Tchaouna still has a contract until the summer of 2029. Whether the talks between the two clubs are going well, is not reported.
This time, PSV are said to be aiming for a loan arrangement with a mandatory option to buy of around 15 million euros. Tchaouna himself is said to have already given his word to PSV.
The Chad-born French forward played 24 Serie A matches this season, scoring one goal. In the 2023-24 season, Tchaouna was on loan for Salernitana, where he contributed to seven goals in 34 league matches (four goals and three assists).
