Naked United Fan On Bilbao Scaffolding Sparks Worker Confrontation

WARNING, CONTAINS NUDITY: A Manchester United fans has been filmed dancing naked on some scaffolding in Bilbao as the Red Devils get ready for their Europa League final clash with Spurs

A Manchester United fan risked arrest in Spain as he bared all and boogied into the early evening in Bilbao.

The Red Devils have descended on the Spanish city, alongside Tottenham fans, for the Europa League final on Wednesday (May 21). And as supporters gathered in a square, one United fan was filmed dancing around in his birthday suit on some scaffolding.

A video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, showed the fan chanting and gyrating on the scaffolding – leaving nothing to the imagination. Fans watching from below sang: “We’re Man United, we’ll do what we want.”

However, he was soon joined by a Bilbao builder. The United fan jokingly gestured as if trying to pull down the worker’s trousers, before the man demanded they got down from the scaffolding.

The United fan, however, was in no mood to move and he put his arm round the builder and bounced up and down, before finally climbing down a ladder with a friend.

“Someone should have told him that after a strip search at the airport you’re allowed to put your clothes back on,” one fan joked. While a second said: “Blimey, how cold is it there?”

“Someone’s gonna have some major anxiety tomorrow,” a third said. As another added: “I think it’s time to increase those pints from 5 euro to 10…” And a fourth joked: “All that fuss over such a little thing…”

However, not all were impressed, with one fan posting: “Proper strange behaviour that…”

Reports suggest around 70,000 English fans have made the trip to the Basque Country.

And while most have been well behaved, a video emerged on social media on Tuesday evening of a brawl in nearby San Sebastian, where fans were seen throwing punches and objects at each other.

The fight, which took place on the eve of the final, was shared across X. The Sun reports that authorities were called to Fermín Calbetón Street around 9.20pm following reports of violent behaviour.

Eyewitnesses say the trouble started when two groups of rival supporters began hurling insults at each other.

The situation quickly escalated, with fans throwing punches and objects, including a wheelie bin and drinks. One fan even overturned a table to use as a weapon before police restored order.

Despite the chaos, no arrests were made, although police remained in the area. An ambulance was also reportedly on standby, with ‘several people’ treated at the scene, but no one was taken to hospital.
