Villa To Open The Warehouse Entertainment Venue In December
Aston Villa FC are making waves in the Premier League with their ambitious expansion into entertainment. The club has partnered with Oak View Group (OVG) to launch The Warehouse – a 3,500-capacity live entertainment venue adjacent to their home ground, Villa Park opening this December.
As the first purpose-built, mid-sized entertainment facility connected to a Premier League ground, The Warehouse will host concerts, comedy shows, boxing events and more, transforming Villa Park into a 365-day destination. OVG will handle talent acquisition and operational planning for the venue.
Villa’s vision follows the successful Hollywood Park model in California, home to SoFi Stadium, the Intuit Dome, and YouTube Theater, where three large facilities are all within walking distance of each other.
Beyond enhancing the fan experience, The Warehouse strategically positions Aston Villa to extend their brand beyond matchdays, unlock new revenue streams, strengthen fan connections, and contribute to local urban development.
“This is a new chapter in Aston Villa’s evolution,” said Chris Heck, President of Business Operations. “The Warehouse gives us a high-quality space for live entertainment that enhances the fan experience and creates long-term commercial value.”
With Villa currently experiencing their most successful season in decades, the time is right for expansion.
