Rivers Angels head coach, Tosan Blackson, expressed confidence in his team’s quality following their 2-1 victory over Delta Queens at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Wednesday.
Blackson praised his players for their impressive performance, stating: “I told you before the match that Delta Queens couldn’t withstand us, and it played out that way.”
The victory places Rivers Angels in second position on the league table with 10 points from four matches.
Looking ahead, Blackson’s side will face Bayelsa Queens in a matchday five fixture at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Wednesday.
