NWFL: Bolaji Credits Hard Work, Role Change for Goal-Scoring Form

Remo Stars Ladies forward, Bolaji Olamide, has attributed her exceptional form this season to hard work and the unwavering support from her coaches and teammates.

Since joining the Ikenne-based club at the start of the campaign, Olamide has scored five goals in four league matches, making her the current top scorer in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).

Reflecting on her career transformation, Olamide revealed that her transition from midfielder to striker during her time at Sunshine Queens was pivotal.

“Converting me from a midfielder to striker has really helped me understand the best positions to take on the field,” Olamide told The Hope Newspaper.

“I love my new role because I want my name to be synonymous with goal scoring in the elite women’s league,” she added.

Olamide’s impressive performances have made her a standout player this season, cementing her reputation as a lethal finisher.
