Kano Pillars have bolstered their squad with the addition of six new players as they prepare for the remainder of the NPFL season.
Among the new recruits are defenders Dawud Ibrahim, a left-back from Kebbi United, and Uzogara Kennedy, a central defender from Rivers United.
The Sai Masu Gida have also secured three strikers: Eshimitu Gomino Eya from FRSC, Hadi Mohammed Olarewanju from Bayelsa United, and Jerry Alex, who returns to the team after stints with Maltese Premier League sides Mosta FC and Senglea FC.
Completing the lineup is midfielder Ezeh Charles, who joins the four-time NPFL champions on a free transfer. Charles previously featured for Lillestrøm SK of Norway and FK Kom of Montenegro.
The club has also seen changes with four players leaving. Usman Aminu Maidubji and Yusuf Abdullahi have moved on loan to NNL sides Barau FC and Plateau United, respectively, until the season’s end.
Additionally, Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Anaful parted ways with the club by mutual consent, while striker Abdulmajeed Aminu is set to complete a move to South African side Moneni Pirates.
Kano Pillars are gearing up for a competitive campaign as they aim to strengthen their position in Nigerian football.
