Paul Merson predicts Liverpool can win Premier League with key February fixtures

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has stated that Liverpool will secure the Premier League title this season if they manage to earn seven points from their upcoming away games against Bournemouth, Everton, and Manchester City.

Currently top of the league with 53 points from 22 games, Liverpool holds a game in hand and leads Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, and Man City.

Merson emphasized the importance of February for Liverpool, pointing to their trips to Bournemouth, Everton, and Manchester City as crucial. He said, “If Liverpool get seven points from these three fixtures, they will win the Premier League.”

However, Merson acknowledged the challenges, noting that Bournemouth are in good form, Everton have improved under David Moyes, and Manchester City remains a formidable opponent.

Last season, Manchester City clinched the Premier League title, finishing ahead of both Arsenal and Liverpool.
