Cristiano Ronaldo becomes first footballer to achieve 700 club wins
Cristiano Ronaldo has reached a historic milestone, becoming the first and only player in football history to record 700 official club victories.
The 39-year-old Portuguese superstar achieved this feat following Al-Nassr’s 2-1 triumph over Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday.
Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 35th minute with a precise finish from Marcelo Brozovic’s pass. He later set up Nawaf Al-Boushail for Al-Nassr’s second goal in the 47th minute. Al-Raed’s Amir Sayoud netted a consolation goal in the 76th minute, sealing the final score at 2-1.
Ronaldo’s illustrious professional career began at Sporting CP, where he secured 13 wins.
He went on to win 215 matches with Manchester United across two spells (2003-2009, 2021-2022), followed by 316 victories during his legendary tenure at Real Madrid (2009-2018).
At Juventus, he recorded 91 wins between 2018 and 2021. Since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023, the forward has added 66 wins to his record.
Marca confirms that Ronaldo remains the only footballer to reach this remarkable milestone, further cementing his legacy as one of the sport’s greatest icons.
