Ademola Lookman has been ruled out of Atalanta’s UEFA Champions League fixture against Barcelona.
The winger sustained a knee injury during Atalanta’s Serie A match against Como last weekend.
The Nigerian international is expected to be out for several weeks, with his return date dependent on further medical assessments in the coming days.
Lookman was in fine form last week, scoring in La Dea’s dominant 5-0 victory over Sturm Graz. He has registered four goals and two assists in six appearances in the competition this season.
Atalanta will face Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Wednesday.
