Alonso confirms Victor Boniface’s imminent move to Al Nassr

Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has confirmed that Victor Boniface is on the verge of moving to Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.

Reports indicate that talks are already underway between Leverkusen and Al Nassr for the striker, with Boniface reportedly open to the move.

“There is this situation, and I understand that. There are discussions with the club,” Alonso said during a press conference ahead of Leverkusen’s UEFA Champions League match against Sparta Prague on Wednesday.

“We have to wait. We’re preparing for the game without Boni, of course.”

The 23-year-old recently extended his contract with Leverkusen until 2029.
