Lagos FA chairman inaugurates seven standing committees, tasks members to remain focused
The Executive Board of Lagos State Football Association led by its Chairman Hajji Gafar Olawale Liameed over the weekend inaugurated seven Standing Committees to work with the FA in achieving its goals.
While performing the historic inauguration of the committees,that included Technical, Referees, Marketing/Sponsorship, Media, Security, Match Commissioners and Women’s Football, the Vice-Chairman of LSFA, Adedotun Coker noted that members of the various committees were diligently selected based on their track records and commitments to the growth of the game in the state.
He further charged members of committees to remain focused and unrelenting, in the onerous task to take the game of football to enviable heights in the state.
LSFA Chairman Hajji Liameed in his remarks, gleefully revelled in the plethora of experienced, committed and hardworking football persons carefully selected from different walks of life into the various standing committees.
“I’m very happy with the composition of the various committees. These are vastly experienced and resourceful individuals, with impressive track records in the football community.Therefore, I can proudly say, I’m the luckiest FA Chairman to have these incredible individuals working with me and the board to make football better and bigger in Lagos state,” he remarked gleefully.
He went on to admonish the committees members not to rest on their oars, adding that their membership of the various committees is a call to service, as the FA intends, to remain the template for a thriving, sustainable and successful football administration in Nigeria.
