Niger Tornadoes Interim coach, Majin Mohammed has attributed his team’s loss to Akwa United to ill luck.
The Ikon Allah Boys were thrashed 4-1 by the Promise Keepers at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Mohammed revealed that Akwa United showed more determination to get victory in the game.
He said his players failed to yield to his pre-match warning.
“I told my players before the game not to judge Akwa United because of their position on the table which the result showed in the game,” he stated.
“I will just attribute the defeat to bad luck.
“Akwa United really showed that they are desperately in need of points and they came out smoking which really helped them.”
