Serie A: Okoye rues Udinese defeat to Inter Milan
Udinese Goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has expressed disappointment with the team’s defeat to Serie A leaders Inter Milan.
Udinese conceded in the fifth minute of added time to lose 2-1 against Simone Inzaghi’s side on Monday night.
The result saw the Zebras drop further down on the table and they now need to improve on their performance to escape relegation.
“It’s a shame it ended like this. We played a good game, yet we didn’t get any points, ‘” the shot-stopper told the club’s official website.
Okoye also reflected on his performance in the game.
“I should have blocked Calhanoglu’s second shot. The most difficult intervention was the one on Martinez shortly after our goal,” he added.
