Former Fulham coach praises Lookman for impressive work rate
Former Fulham caretaker manager, Stuart Gray has praised Ademola Lookman for his hard work and dedication.
Lookman played under Gray during his loan stint at Fulham in the 2020/21 season.
The Nigeria international scored five goals in 35 appearances with the Whites getting relegated from the Premier League.
Gray was impressed with the winger’s dedication and professionalism during the period they worked together.
“He’s one of the most dedicated professionals I’ve seen who just wanted to work hours and hours on the training pitch. He was first in the building and would leave when the staff did,” he told The Scottish Sun.
“The biggest thing was trying to educate him that Saturday when we played was most important. We had to drag him off the training ground, He would stay back for hours working on technical work, taking free-kicks, crossing or shooting.”
Lookman is currently in the books of Serie A club, Atalanta.
The 26-year-old has scored eight goals and recorded four assists in 24 league appearances for La Dea this season.
