EPL: Nottingham Forest will survive relegation – Aina

Ola Aina is upbeat Nottingham Forest will maintain their Premier League status at the end of the season.

The Tricky Trees currently occupy 17th position on the EPL table and will face tough games against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Chelsea and Manchester City before the end of the season.

Forest have also been hit with a four-point deduction for breaching profit and sustainability rules which has affected their position on the log.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have already appealed the verdict which could also determine their fate at the end of the season.

Despite all the odds against his team, Aina is confident they will escape relegation.

“I don’t see the team going down,” Aina told the Nottingham Post.

“We’ve had a difficult season by our standards, but I very much expect us to improve in our next game.

“More importantly, it’s about playing well and trying to get a result to stay up.”

The versatile defender has made 17 league appearances this season with one goal and an assist to his name.
