Ilechukwu unhappy with Rangers defeat against Katsina United

Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu has branded his team’s performance in their 4-3 defeat to Katsina United as “not acceptable”.

Ilechukwu expressed his dissatisfaction over the goals conceded by his team.

The defeat ends the Flying Antelopes 10 games unbeaten run in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

He, however, promised to work on the lapses ahead of their Oriental derby clash against Abia Warriors.

“I think it was a great game for both teams,” he told NPFL Media.

“Scoring three goals in an away game is not an easy one but conceding four goals is not acceptable in football.

“I am so sad about that, but we can only move on as the game is gone.

“All we need to do is to psyche the boys up, identify the challenging area and make the corrections going into our next game.”
