Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed the talk of his team being title favourites.
The Reds went top of the Premier League table with a 2-1 win over Brighton on Sunday.
Arsenal’s 0-0 draw at Manchester City meant Klopp’s men are two points ahead of the Gunners and three more than the champions.
But Klopp is not getting carried away with the predictions from pundits.
He told reporters on Wednesday: “After we lost at Arsenal, we were not the favourites after that game; maybe rightly so, I don’t know and I don’t care.
“One of the most important things to get through this period is just to ignore the outside noise because that goes up and down.
“We have to be professional. We have to be emotional but in the right way. We have to be the best version of ourselves, try to play the best football we can and then see what the outcome is.”
