Njoku upbeat Abia Warriors will beat Plateau United

Abia Warriors captain Augustine Njoku says the team is adequately prepared for their clash against Plateau United.

Njoku said the Abia State Federation Cup triumph over Enyimba is a morale booster for the players ahead of the matchday 28 tie on Wednesday.

He expressed optimism in the team’s ability to secure maximum points in the game.

Abia Warriors will trade tackles against the Peace Boys at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

“The team is very much prepared to face Plateau United. We have put the game against Katsina United behind us,” he told Abia Warriors Media.

“The Federation Cup triumph over Enyimba is a morale booster for the team, I believe we will come out victorious in the game.

“The game is a must-win for us. We are mentally and physically ready.
