Guardiola names title favourites after Man City’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has claimed Liverpool are now favourites to win the Premier League title, following his side’s goalless draw with Arsenal on Sunday.
Liverpool came from behind in the early kick off to beat Brighton 2-1 at Anfield.
The results mean Jurgen Klopp’s men are now two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
City are three points behind and have a worse goal difference.
According to Guardiola, Liverpool are now in the driving seat to win the title.
When asked if Liverpool are now clear favourites to win the league, Guardiola replied: “Yeah, the one who is first is favourite.
“The second favourite is Arsenal and we are the third.”
