The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been eliminated from the African Games 2023 following a 3-2 defeat to Senegal.

Nigeria got off to a perfect start with Charles Agada netting the curtain raiser in the second minute.

Senegal fought their way back with Idrissa Gueye scoring two quick goals.

The Flying Eagles equalised through Chibueze Izuogu five minutes after the break.
