Ugwuoke returns to Rangers training after three-year absence

Rangers midfielder, Ugochukwu Ugwuoke has returned to training after a three-year injury layoff.

Ugwuoke picked up a knee injury in 2022.

The midfielder was operated upon at an unnamed hospital in Enugu.

According to reports, Ugwuoke has resumed training with the rest of the team.

He expressed gratitude to the Flying Antelopes for their support during his spell on the sidelines.

The club wrote on the X handle, “Our mercurial midfielder, Ugochukwu UGWUOKE a.k.a Kandish has returned to training after full recovery from a knee injury that kept him out for nearly three seasons.

“He is happy to be back to do what he knows how best to do on the football pitch.

“Welcome back the KANDISH!”

Ugwuoke is expected to make his return to action before the end of the season.
