Enyimba defender Alalibo seeks positive result against Gombe United

Enyimba defender Somiari Alalibo says the team is desperate for victory ahead of the matchday 22 fixture against Gombe United.

The People’s Elephant will face the Savannah Scorpions at the Enyimba International Stadium on Wednesday (today).

Alalibo believed that the team would get the maximum points in the game.

“It’s going to be a good game and I must confess we’re ready for this game,” he told Enyimba media.

“Last time In Benin, we picked up a point on the road but we’re hungry for the three points and I am optimistic we would get it.”

Enyimba thrashed Gombe United 5-0 in the same fixture last season.

Chukwuemeka Obioma netted a hat trick while Ikenna Cooper and Abubakar Adamu scored one each in the game.
