Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has claimed his team will not be the favourites in this weekend’s Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.
The game will be a rematch of the 2022 final, which the Reds won via penalties, after it ended 0-0 after 120 minutes.
With Klopp’s men currently top of the Premier League table, they are being regarded as favourites to beat the Blues once more.
Chelsea have only won 10 matches and are currently down in 10th place in the table. However,
But Klopp believes they could pose a threat to his injury-ridden side.
Klopp told BBC Sport: “Will we be big favourites? Definitely not.
“Since we played them (Chelsea) they have improved a lot and it will be tricky, this was exceptional tonight.”
