Olympic Games: Nigeria Pillar Of Sports Congratulates D’Tigress, NBBF, On Picking Ticket
Nigeria Pillar Of Sports, High Chief Donatus N.Agu-Ejidike (JP) has joined millions of Nigerians to congratulate and celebrate Nigeria’s senior women national basketball team, D’Tigress for winning a ticket to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, coming up later this year.
In the congratulatory message signed and made available to the press by the Chairman of the National Office Of the Pillar Of Sports, Prince Ajide Olayioye, Ejidike-Agu expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the team for making the country proud, at all times.
He also praised the board of Nigeria Basketball Federation led by Engr. Musa Kida, for its steadfastness and commitment to the development of the game in Nigeria.
“The office of the Nigeria Pillar Of Sports and indeed, all Nigerians, are very happy and proud of your continued feats and achievements on the continental and global stages. You’ve always shown your patriotism, commitment and passion for this country.
“We must also commend Engr. Musa Kida and the board of NBBF, for their selfless contributions to the development of the game in Nigeria. Their commitments and dedication is very inspiring and that, of course, is what you call true leadership,” Ejidike added.
It went on to disclose that the Nigeria Pillar Of Sports, is willing and ever ready to partner with the NBBF on the development of the game at the grassroots levels, in the country.
