Mikel Arteta is considering leaving Arsenal at the end of the season, according to media in Barcelona.
The Arsenal boss has a contract that runs until 2025, but he could be set to break that at the end of the season. Media reports in Catalonia, Arteta has informed his close entourage that he wants to leave the Gunners at the end of the season.
And the belief is due to his close relationship with the boars at the Emirates Stadium, they will allow him to break his existing deal. According to SPORT, the timing of his decision is completely coincidental – and it has nothing to do with Barcelona’s boss Xavi also walking at the end of the season.

Xavi announced on Saturday evening he will be leaving his post as Barcelona manager at the end on the season. He said: “We have reached a point of no return. It’s time for change. As a Culé, I think that it’s time to leave. I spoke with the board and the club today. I will leave on the 30th of June.
“This club needs a change of dynamic. Leaving Barça is the best decision possible for all parties involved. I’m the most responsible one, so the players will finally feel free now… at least with this decision you [the press] won’t kill me anymore. The club will improve with this decision.”
