Harry Kane’s incredible Bayern Munich journey could be set to continue for many more years — but only if the Bundesliga giants meet one major demand.
The England captain is reportedly pushing for a blockbuster new contract that would place him among the highest-paid players at Bayern Munich, with Kane seeking salary parity with German superstar Jamal Musiala.
After another record-breaking campaign in Bavaria, Kane’s negotiating power has never been stronger.
Since leaving Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, the striker has completely transformed Bayern’s attack, becoming the club’s ultimate goal machine while helping deliver domestic dominance once again.
Now, with Bayern eager to secure his long-term future, contract talks are intensifying behind the scenes.
According to reports from Germany, Kane wants his new deal to reflect both his status and performances, especially considering the enormous wages currently earned by Musiala. The striker reportedly has no intention of accepting a package lower than the German international’s salary.
The situation becomes even more fascinating due to interest from the Saudi Pro League, where Kane could reportedly double his current earnings if he decided to leave Europe.
Despite that financial temptation, all indications suggest Kane wants to remain at Bayern Munich.
The 32-year-old is said to be fully settled in Germany alongside his family and is enjoying both life in Munich and the challenge of competing for major trophies under Vincent Kompany.
While speculation about a Premier League return has continued ever since his Tottenham departure, Kane appears willing to put Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League scoring record on hold in order to continue building his legacy in Germany.
Reports suggest Kane is pushing for a deal that could keep him at Bayern until 2030, potentially extending his stay at the Allianz Arena until he is nearly 37 years old.
Bayern, however, are believed to prefer a shorter extension with an option to prolong the agreement later.
Still, Kane’s performances make it difficult for the club to ignore his demands.
The England captain just completed one of the greatest individual seasons in Bayern Munich history. Following his devastating hat-trick against Koln, Kane finished the campaign with a staggering 58 goals across all competitions.
That incredible total officially surpassed Robert Lewandowski’s previous Bayern single-season record of 55 goals.
Even more impressively, Kane secured the Bundesliga Golden Boot for the third consecutive season, cementing himself as one of the deadliest strikers in world football.
Alongside attacking stars Michael Olise and Luis Diaz, Kane helped Bayern finish the league season with a jaw-dropping 122 goals, turning the Bavarians into arguably the most feared attack in European football.
With numbers like that, Bayern Munich may soon decide Harry Kane is worth every penny.
